Back Like We Never Left!

Oh, how wonderful our day really was!  I feel like all I have said for the past few weeks is Welcome Back or Welcome to our classroom, so forth and so on. I expected a little resistance in the beginning, maybe a few tears, but what I did not expect was just how quickly our Almond friends would jump right in to playing, exploring and making the experience their own. The morning started off with our friends finding their cubbies and placing their belongings inside, before I could even offer suggestions of where to explore; they were off to the races and playing with blocks, cars, puzzles and any dramatic play items they could get their hands on. It was absolutely beautiful and what I love most about working with these kiddos! They were indeed, back like they never left. Please enjoy these pictures of them exploring their new space, I am so excited to see what all is yet to come this year!
